$100 Million Lawsuit Claims Donald Trump And Convicted Pedophile Jeffrey Epstein Raped 13 Year Old Girl

Lawsuit filed in California claims the woman and other juveniles were used as “sex slaves” in 2004

Donald Trump has ‘categorically’ denied claim sin a lawsuit that he a raped a 13-year-old girl at ‘sex parties’

A woman has a filed a $100 million lawsuit in California federal court accusing Donald Trump of raping her three times when she was a teenager.

As first reported by Radar Online, admittedly a tabloid website, a woman in San Bernardino County, Katie Johnson claims in court documents that the New York billionaire and GOP front-runner forced her to “engage in various perverted and depraved sex acts by threatening physical harm to (Johnson) and her family.”

“The allegations are not only categorically false, but disgusting at the highest level and clearly framed to solicit media attention or, perhaps, are simply politically motivated,” Trump Organization counsel Alan Garten said in a statement, “To be clear, there is absolutely no merit to these claims and, based on our investigation no evidence that the person who has made these allegations actually exists.”

Jeffrey Epstein, a former banker and convicted sex offender, is also named in the lawsuit, which was filed April 26 in the Central District of California.  The plaintiff claims the sexual assaults occurred at a home owned by Epstein, and that he hosted “sex parties” which were frequented by Trump.

Johnson claims in the suit that a former employee of Epstein was a witness and can confirm her claims.

The lawsuit further details that Johnson and other juveniles were used by Trump and Epstein as “sex slaves” from June to September 2004, enticing her by the potential of a modeling career and financial compensation.

No criminal charges were ever filed against either defendant, but a copy of the court documents filed earlier this week can be viewed here:

The suit alleges further that following one round of abuse involving Epstein and Trump as they received massages from Ms. Johnson and another underage girl, the two men began to argue over who would take her virginity first.

The “party planner,” referred to in the documents as Tiffany Doe, was there to witness the incidents with Trump, stating “Tiffany Doe was physically present at each of the four occasions of sexual abuse by Defendant Trump upon the person of Plaintiff Johnson.”

There are certain oddities about the case – which is still developing – most notably being that Johnson filed the lawsuit pro se,  meaning that she has elected to act as her own attorney. The listed address in Twentynine Palms, California, involves a residence that has been foreclosed and presently vacant.

A separate document alleging under penalty of perjury that she is Katie Johnson, the plaintiff claims she is presently unemployed.

Nonetheless, it is possible that all of this is true.

Jeffrey Epstein was previously accused and of running a “sexual abuse ring” which involved preying on and providing underage girls to high-powered clients, among them prominent businessman and politicians. While these claims were never able to be substantiated, he was convicted of soliciting an underage girl for prostitution in 2008, and subsequently sentenced to 13 months in prison.

Epstein had connections to Bill Clinton, which Donald Trump recently cited as evidence of Hillary Clinton’s inability to be trusted. Apparently Trump was unaware of his own verifiable connections to the registered sex offender.

Additionally, the lawsuit would not be the first person to accuse Donald Trump of rape or sexual assault. Earlier this year, Jill Harth confirmed that a 1997 lawsuit alleging that Trump touched her intimately without consent after her boyfriend George Houraney went into business with him was true, leaving her “emotionally devastated and distraught.”

The lawsuit was dropped in Manhattan the following month, suspiciously coinciding with a different legal dispute between Trump and Harth’s boyfriend over an alleged breach of contract relating to their beauty pageant venture.

Via The Guardian:

On Wednesday, Trump’s counsel Michael Cohen told a reporter for Mail Online that there was “no truth” to the lawsuit’s allegations. “The plaintiff in the matter … would acknowledge the same,” Cohen was quoted as saying.

Yet when asked by the Guardian whether she stood by the allegations detailed in the lawsuit, the woman said in a text message: “Yes.” The woman, now a successful makeup artist in New York, declined to discuss the allegations in detail.

Cohen and a spokeswoman for Trump’s campaign did not respond to several requests from the Guardian for comment.

The copy of that lawsuit details claims that Trump engaged in hostile and offensive sexual behavior towards her from 1992-1997, including “groping” under her dress on several occasions, forcibly moving her to his daughter Ivanka’s bedroom in an attempt to have sex with her, and “repeatedly propositioning her for sex.”

After Trump business associates left, the defendant (Trump) over the plaintiff’s objections forcibly prevented plaintiff from leaving and forcibly removed plaintiff to a bedroom, whereupon defendant (Trump) subjected plaintiff to defendant’s unwanted sexual advances, which included touching of plaintiff’s private parts in an act constituting attempted “rape”

uzdzh2wmmu5yci8xmscw

Additionally, Harth alleges that Trump used the American Dream Festival as a vehicle for seeking sex from beautiful women.  Repeatedly referring to women publicly as “sex objects” and “great pieces of ass” Trump asked Harth to provide him access to a 17-year-old Czech contestant.

The only public comment that Trump at the time of the lawsuit was that it was “a desperate attempt to get me to settle,” in reference to her boyfriends business disputes.

This story is developing and will be updated as new details emerge.

Protests Against Donald Trump Lead To 20 Arrests In Southern California

At least 20 arrests were made last night after protesters turned violent after a Donald Trump rally in Orange County, Costa Mesa police say.

While Trump was speaking at the Pacific Amphitheater the crowd of protestors was mostly peaceful.  One group is said to have taunted Trump supporters as they waited to enter the area, one man holding a Mexican flag and shouting, “Build that wall! Build that wall!”

A group of seven topless women wearing only Bernie Sanders stickers over their breasts told reporters they were protesting Trump’s silence on issues of women’s rights and gender equality.

“I feel like he wants to make America great again, but certainly not for women, for the LBGTQ community or for the lower class,” said one of the women, Tiernan Hebron, referencing the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. “He has, like, done nothing to help with gender equality or women’s rights or reproductive rights or anything.”

It wasn’t until after the rally concluded and supporters began to leave that protestors took to the street and violent clashes ensued.  Police on horseback and in riot gear were on the scene.  According to officials, there were no major injuries Thursday night.

It took three hours after Trump finished his speech for the crowds to disperse.  By 11 p.m. they were gone.

The LA Times reports that the protestors stomped on cars, threw rocks at motorists, smashed the window of a police cruiser and slashed the tires of a police SUV.  Helicopters circled overhead as protestors carrying American and Mexican flags blocked the roadways, including the entrance to the 55 Freeway and even attempted to flip a police car.

In all, the Costa Mesa police say, five police vehicles were damaged.

At least one man had his face bloodied by a protestor as he was trying to drive away from the area, the Associated Press reported.

Inside of the rally itself, Trump was in full-blown xenophobe tyrant mode, egging on the cheering crowd with his plans to make Mexico pay for a border wall and recounting a debunked story of Muslim terrorists who were executed by a U.S. Army general with bullets dipped in pig blood.

On Twitter, Trump supporters have echoed a claim made by the GOP frontrunner that the protesters were paid agitators, or that they had been paid for by George Soros.

Cuban-American Donald Trump? Florida GOP Candidate For Senator Calls For Banning Middle East Immigration

Except Israelis, of course.

At this point in a nauseatingly long election cycle, Donald Trump‘s rampant xenophobia has been well documented. He famously took his bigotry to an entirely unprecedented level following the Paris Attacks when he pledged to ban all Muslims – 1.6 billion people globally – from entering the United States, a plan he reiterated following the Brussels Attacks last month.

While his rhetoric has been heavily criticized on both sides of the aisle, it has also inspired many xenophobes disguising themselves as policymakers to be more vocal in their desire to inch America closer towards total isolationism.

No one candidate may typify this greater than Carlos Beruff, himself an affluently brash real estate developer, and Florida resident. He is currently the GOP candidate for U.S. Senate in the state.

During a question-and-answer session following a speech to the Broward County Republican Party Monday evening, Beruff was asked by someone in the audience about his “position on Muslim immigration.”

“I think our immigration department is broken,” he responded immediately, “And I don’t think it’s safe to allow anybody from the Middle East into this country.”

When a reporter following the session had the audacity to question – as many similarly have Trump – as to exactly how this ban would be implemented, Beruff predictably deflected the question saying, “I think it’s pretty simple. We have a system that doesn’t work. When they fix that, I don’t care. But right now we have a terrorist threat that’s very real. You want to ignore it, but I don’t.”

“Pretty much anybody that’s got a terrorist organization in it, which is pretty much all the Middle East,” Beruff continued, adding that he thinks “Israel’s security measures are pretty strong. Israel is an exception.”

Beruff was quick to note that because he wanted to ban all people from the Middle East, not just Muslims, there was nothing bigoted about his positions.

“Unless you can tell me how you get the system to be able to do that correctly, I think it applies to everybody.”

For his part, Democratic opponent Patrick Murphy swiftly condemned Beruff’s comments on Tuesday.

“Carlos Beruff’s statement is not only disgraceful, but his full embrace of Donald Trump’s extreme bigotry is flat-out un-American,” Murphy said in a statement. “Mr Beruff’s asinine comments and out-of-touch values are not just dangerous to our democracy, but are absolutely unacceptable for any candidate who wants to represent Floridians in the U.S. Senate.”

Beruff, who released his first TV ad earlier this month, is part of a growing trend of GOP politicians breaking away from party establishments to ride Trump’s wave of anti-immigration and isolationist rhetoric, hoping it will reward them in November.

Yet, in a statement Tuesday afternoon, Beruff was already backtracking from the inflammatory comments Monday.

“Democrats refuse to deal with reality,” Beruff said in a statement Tuesday afternoon, “They make things up, sensationalize common sense solutions and exacerbate this obsession over political correctness. I stand by my answer and will repeat: anyone with ties, or possible ties, to terrorism should not be allowed in the United States.”

The statement already presents a more limited lens than his answer in Broward County, which previously applied to “anybody from the Middle East.”

Florida GOP leaders supporting Beruff were quick to defend the candidate, saying the statements had nothing “to do with Muslim or not” and that “We’ve got to go and make our people safe,” further continuing a deeply disturbing trend within the Republican party of normalizing bigotry in the name of security.

Anti-Muslim and anti-Arab bigotry has become fashionable in Republican Party politics,” said Ibrahim Hooper, national communications director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIC) “Islamophobia almost seems to be a litmus test now for Republican candidates, that they have to advocate somehow anti-Muslim bigotry and intolerance. It’s strange because many Muslims are social conservatives. And American Muslims should be a voting bloc that the Republican Party is seeking to attract and not repel.”

Beruff is hoping to be elected to the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Republican Senator Marco Rubio. It is expected to be a highly contested race in the general election.

Big Day In NY Politics: Dems Square Off In Brooklyn And Thousands Prepare To Shut Down Donald Trump In Midtown

As GOP hosts NY State Republican Gala in Midtown, thousands expected to protest outside with the explicit intention of shutting it down

New York City and GOP leaders are bracing themselves for some of the largest anti-Trump protests this campaign season, as thousands of people are scheduled to protest the New York State Republican Gala with the explicit intention of shutting it down outside the Grand Hyatt near Grand Central Station.

The event occurs in conjunction with two other noteworthy political events taking place in the city: The Democratic Debate in Brooklyn and a Bernie Sanders rally last night in Washington Square which drew over 30,000 attendees.

Today’s event in Midtown is a high status, black tie fundraising dinner for the GOP itself, not the Trump campaign, as fellow presidential hopefuls Ted Cruz and John Kasich will also be in attendance at the $1,000/plate reception.

“Trump’s rhetoric is an instigation to racist, anti-migrant and misogynistic violence,” said KaLisa Moore, part of the Stop Trump Coalition and Peoples Power Assemblies, “As a matter of self-defense and protection of New Yorkers, we intend to do what the city’s elected so-called leaders refuse to do – and shut down Trump from spreading his hateful message.”

While the only rally to successfully shut down a Trump event took place last month at Illinois-Chicago, it is not far-fetched to think it might occur again today in Manhattan. For one thing, the event is not a Trump rally; instead of enjoying the insulation provided by thousands of his supporters typically overwhelming peaceful demonstrators with physical violence, this is a GOP state fundraiser 5 days ahead of the NY primary, so Trump will not be the sole feature.

Adding more suspense and certainly heightened risk, the protest has no designated area, just generally around Grand Central Terminal beginning approximately at 5:30 PM, arguably the most congested spot in Manhattan at the most congested time in Manhattan.

Picture1
Official statement from the Fight for $15 regarding today’s Trump protests

While it remains to be seen how many protesters will attend today’s event, multiple Facebook groups are already showing numbers in the thousands. The main one, Shut Down Trump in NYC, has more than 2,000 confirmed attendees, and another, Protest Donald Trump at the NY State Republican Gala, counts nearly 1,500 attendees. The main group – Stop Trump Coalition – identifies itself as a coalition of “students, Muslims, migrants’ rights groups, and members of New York’s Black Lives Matter movement.”

Several smaller groups also have protest event pages, including the Fight for $15, a national coalition advocating for a $15 minimum wage across the country.  They noted that Trump is against raising the minimum wage in any capacity, and this has served as a rallying cry to stand in solidarity with other organizers against Trump.

It is unclear what additional precautions the New York City Police Department will be taking to monitor the demonstration.

Injustice.in will be live tweeting and bringing you exclusive footage throughout the demonstration. Follow us on twitter @InjusticeIn for continuous updates.

White Supremacist SuperPAC floods “every Wisconsin landline” with robocalls supporting Donald Trump

American National super PAC places $6,000 worth of robocalls urging Wisconsinites to support Donald Trump ahead of tomorrow’s primary

Run by white supremacist William Johnson, who previously funded robocall efforts in Utah and Iowa earlier in the Primary calendar

William Johnson, the leader of a self-proclaimed “white nationalist” group is sponsoring robocalls claiming to flood “every Wisconsin landline” urging voters to support Donald Trump ahead of the State’s Republican primary Tuesday, continuing a disturbing trend of public support and funding from white supremacists/neo-Nazis that began with the Iowa caucuses.

According to the  Journal Sentinel,  Johnson spent $6,000 to call every Wisconsin landline with a recorded massage, which begins with an older woman saying that “Trump will be a fine president,” promises that he “will respect all women and help preserve western civilization,” and then concludes by describing Johnson as a “farmer and a white nationalist,” mentioning his American Freedom Party and the American National super PAC.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard from Johnson on the campaign trail; ahead of Utah’s primary in March he funded nonstop robocalls throughout the state urging people to vote for Trump and “stop the war on white people.”

Ted Cruz went onto win Utah with nearly 70% of the vote.

Explaining further to the Sentinel, Johnson said he specifically felt it was important to include the words “white nationalist” in the call, speculating that the narrator’s “sweet grandmotherly voice” would make the message less controversial.

“I want people to hear, to feel comfortable with, the term ‘white nationalist,’” Johnson said.

WATCH: Donald Trump Says Women Should Be Punished For Abortions

Questioned by MSNBC host Chris Matthews about whether he is believes women should be punished for having abortions, Donald Trump responded that he does believe “there has to be some form of punishment.”  He would not specify whether by punishment he meant jail time or some other penalty.

During a pre-recorded town hall event Wednesday afternoon, the Hardball host pressed the Republican presidential frontrunner to clarify his abortion stance, an issue that has many evangelical voters concerned about the candidate’s pro-life credentials.

“If you say abortion is a crime or abortion is murder, you have to deal with it under the law,” Matthews reminded Trump.  Donald responded that he believes there should be a ban on abortion and that women will probably still seek abortion if it is passed.  Those women would receive punitive action.  He just can’t say yet what. That would “have to be determined.”

Men would not be punished for abortion, Trump also told Matthews.

“You go back to a position like they had where they would perhaps go to illegal places, but we have to ban it,” Trump said, when asks what would happen if abortion is banned.

The spread of the Zika virus in the hardline anti-abortion countries of Central and South America has brought the issue of illegal abortions and economic injustice into the public spotlight in recent weeks, highlighting the relative ease in which wealthy women are able to get illegal abortions which are more safe than not, whereas poor women often endure extremely unsafe health practices, risking jail and death.

According to Matthews, positions from the pro-choice movement that we haven’t heard in a while resurfaced for him as he interviewed Trump.  How is it fair for a woman whose options are to raise a child without resources or else face a potentially deadly procedure that has been criminalized?  Can’t there be another choice for her?

According to pro-life news source LifeNews, even extreme anti-abortion advocates are put off by Trump’s lack of knowledge and clear stance on the issue.  In their latest pieces, they accuse Trump of hurting the pro-life movement.  About the Chris Matthews interview, LifeNews published “The Inept Thing Donald Trump Said About Women Who Have Abortions is Making Pro-Lifers Cringe,” which included the statement:

While pro-life advocates yearn for the day when unborn children are protected under law and abortions are banned, the pro-life movement has historically opposed punishing women who have abortions — instead focusing on holding abortion practitioners criminally accountable for the unborn children they kill in abortions.

About the interview, Matthews said on MSNBC, “I think he’s sort of put up the pro-life flag without really given it the focus he’s given to immigration or ISIS[…]”

“His answers are fascinating,” Matthews said, not wanting to give away the entire interview which will air before the Town Hall tonight. “People will find out something tonight that they don’t want to hear.”

Ted Cruz has long-been stirring the pot for his competitor, alleging that Donald’s “New York Values” will never make him tough on abortion, like in these comments he made to a Yahoo News reporter before the Iowa primaries:

“Donald explained that he was very very pro-choice and supported partial-birth abortion. And he explained the reason for that is that he was a New Yorker and those are the views of the people of New York,” Cruz said. “He similarly explained how he was open to gay marriage … and again he explained that he was a New Yorker and that’s — you had to understand that. … He has New York views and he explicitly contrasts that and says those are not Iowa values.”

Trump is facing the public’s response to a video interview he made in 1999 in which he claims, “I am pro-choice in every respect.”

The Trump quote which pro-life bloggers and pundits are using again and again is as follows:

“Well, look, I’m — I’m very pro-choice. I hate the concept of abortion. I hate it. I hate everything it stands for. I cringe when I listen to people debating the subject, but you still — I just believe in choice,” said Trump. “Again, it may be a little bit of a New York background because there is some different attitude in different parts of the country. And, you know, I was raised in New York, and grew up, and work, and everything else in New York City. But I am strongly for choice and yet I hate the concept of abortion.”

US Citizen Detained By ICE Agents After Protesting Donald Trump

This past weekend, dozens of Arizonans shut down a major highway leading to a Donald Trump rally in political protest of his divisive stances, blocking supporters for several hours from attending his event. The direct action was coordinated in conjunction with a protest in New York City outside Trump Towers which was attended by over a thousand New Yorkers.

In Arizona, a handful of demonstrators were arrested including Jacinta Gonzalez, who had locked her neck with a U-lock to a truck blocking a portion of the highway. As she and several others were processed, everybody else was released within hours. Despite being a US citizen, Ms. Gonzalez was held overnight, transferred to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and questioned about her immigration status.

Gonzalez works for the immigrant rights organization Mijente, and originally told ThinkProgress that her white colleagues were released around midnight Saturday night, “but as a Latina with a Latina surname, I was the only person interviewed by ICE, and they placed an immigration detainer against me.” In that interview she reportedly refused to answer questions to ICE about her citizenship, invoking her constitutional right to remain silent.

“Because I asserted by civil rights, I was retaliated against,” Gonzales said, referring to agents detaining her overnight. “I’m a fierce believer in the Constitution, and I don’t believe they have the right to interview people without a lawyer present. It’s extremely alarming, and it even violates ICE’s own policy. They are not supposed to put a immigration hold on people convicted of non-violent offenses.”

As a result of her defiance, on Sunday morning Gonzalez was handcuffed, shackled, and loaded onto a van headed for a remote ICE field office. She was then fingerprinted, which matched her citizenship records, and promptly released. Nonetheless, the trauma of being profiled, detained, and an outright denial of her basic civil liberties over a nonviolent violation of the law had nonetheless impacted her experiences, and what she perceives to be a culture of xenophobia being inflamed by Trump’s rhetoric.

She spoke about the experience in a video uploaded Sunday afternoon.

Doug Matteson at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to ThinkProgress that Gonzalez was charged with a Class 3 misdemeanor for her role in blocking traffic and refusing the official dispersal notice. He denied that she was profiled by immigration agents.

“Everyone that enters Maricopa County Jail, whether it’s for spitting on the sidewalk or for murder, you are seen by ICE,” he said. “They interview everyone — male, female, black, white — and for some reason they put a hold on her. They always operate in our jail facility. It’s not like she was singled out.”

Maricopa County Sherriff Joe Arpaio, who recently endorsed Trump, was found along with his department to have systematically engaged in racial profiling.

“The profiling I experienced shows what Trump is trying to promote,” Gonzalez told ThinkProgress. “We are really alarmed not only by Trump’s campaign but the space he’s opened up for other people to spew hatred and implement racist policies.”

White Supremacists Viciously Assault Black Student At Donald Trump Rally

On Monday, 30 black students – attending and paying tuition at Valdosta College, the site of Trump’s rally – were forcibly removed from a Donald Trump rally, simply for being black and appearing threatening.

This came after an event earlier in the day at Radford Virginia in which Black Lives Matter demonstrators were removed and a journalist was assaulted by the Secret Service.

On Tuesday, another rally in Louisville again got out of hand as a black protester was brutally assaulted by several white men, one of whom has been identified as white supremacist Matthew Heimbach.

It has been consistently noted since the beginning of Trump’s campaign that white supremacists are openly energized by Trump’s rhetoric, which is strikingly similar to their own,  they have now progressed to openly engaging in violence against peaceful demonstrators seeking to stand in solidarity against intolerance.

As Trump railed on with his well-documented soundbites, several groups of black protesters peacefully holding signs began getting harassed by the white Trump supporters surrounding them.

Heimbach, who founded the White Supremacist Traditionalist Worker Party, can be seen next to and harassing a peaceful protester as she gets assaulted by various others.

Heimbach has quickly become one of the newest faces of contemporary white supremacy and Neo-Nazism in America, and was recently banned from entering the United Kingdom because of his hate-speech.

As she begins being violently assaulted, nobody in the crowd offers any voice of reason, protection, or any basic instinct of humanity. The police and secret service proceed to do nothing.

“I was called a n—– and a c–t and got kicked out,” said Shiya Nwanguma, a respected student at the University of Louisville to a local interviewerin a video posted on Facebook.

“They were pushing and shoving at me, cursing at me, yelling at me, called me every name in the book. They were disgusting and dangerous.”

Another demonstrator, Molly Shah, watched as Heimbach tried to recruit other attendees.

“I watched him for hours recruit Trump supporters with five of his buddies,” said Shah. “They later attacked the group I was with. The Neo-Nazis threw punches and kicked us. I am still awake now because my body is sore.”

Chanelle Helm, a well known activist who attended the rally, said in an interview with the NY Daily News that she and others were spat on and repeatedly denigrated throughout the rally by Trump supporters.

“In my entire life I had never had anyone look at me with such hate. It was like the videos and photos we’ve seen from the Little Rock 9 and other school integration moments from the 1950s and 60s where the fury was palpable in the eyes of the white women,” said Helm.

She went on, “We were there alongside them for hours and hours waiting for the rally to begin. They would regularly bump into us on purpose, step on our shoes, accidentally wave signs that smacked us in the face. We actually heard them talking about us for hours. It was eery.”

The Traditionalist Youth Party’s Twitter boasted stealing and destroying signs from protesters after the rally.

Despite Running Openly Discriminatory Campaign, Donald Trump Nominated For Nobel Peace Prize

An anonymous US politician has nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. making him one of the most bizarre nominations since Josef Stalin was nominated in 1948.  His nomination – likely from an eligible GOP senator or congressman – was submitted only days before the February 1st deadline.

Joining a well-respected field which includes Pope Francis an advocate/activist for survivors of ISIS-led rapes, the anonymous nomination praised Trump’s “vigorous peace through strength ideology, used as a threat weapon of deterrence against radical Islam, Isis, nuclear Iran and Communist China.”

While Mr. Trump is not expected to be remotely close to the finalists considered for the award, it is disconcerting that US politicians would put politics over respect for the international award, likely in an attempt to sway undecided voters within the GOP field to vote for Trump in the upcoming primaries.

Kristian Berg Harpviken, the director of Oslo’s Peace Research Institute, which publishes an annual forecast of the likely prize winner, confirmed to the Telegraph that he had been sent a copy of the Trump nomination containing the above-referenced rhetoric.

“I have committed not to reveal the identity of the nominator, but what I can say is that the nominator has shared a copy of his nomination letter directly with me, that the nominator has a position which gives him the right to nominate, and that I consider it valid.”

Mr. Harpvigen went on to admit his suspicion that the Trump nomination is likely little more than cynical publicity ploy given beginning of the primaries.

Injustice. In agrees with The Telegraph’s summation of this story, and further adds its disappointment in the lack of respect US politicians have for the Nobel Peace Prize and its selection processes.

Major Veterans Group To Donald Trump: Stop Using Us For Political Stunts

Donald Trump announced this week that he would be boycotting Thursday’s presidential debate, a decision he reached following a statement by Fox News refusing to cut moderator Megyn Kelly. In releasing his own statement on the matter, Donald Trump claimed he will instead be hosting a fundraiser for “veterans and wounded warriors” though, per usual, he offered very little specifics as to the organization. At least one veteran’s group, The Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America – representing roughly 150,000 veterans across the country – says they do not want his money.

Via Think Progress:

On Wednesday, the founder and CEO of the IAVA publicly slammed Trump for what he sees as a cynical, political move.

Rieckhoff, who served in the Army in Iraq in 2003 and 2004, said Trump had not offered his organization any money so far, but insisted they would decline the funds.

The backlash was immediate, with a wave of online comments excoriating Rieckhoff for turning down the still-theoretical money. “You’d be hurting the very people you claim to be helping,” scolded one follower. “You will deny needy veterans because of your political agenda? You should resign or be fired!” cried another.

Others thanked Rieckhoff for standing up to a candidate they say has repeatedly used veterans as political props.

Donald Trump Says He Could Shoot Somebody And Still Not Lose Votes

With less than two weeks until voters from Iowa select the GOP nominee, Donald Trump still remains overly confident that he will emerge victorious. So confident, in fact, the GOP frontrunner says his supporters would remain loyal even if he committed a capital offense.

Via NPR:

“I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?” Trump remarked at a campaign stop at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. “It’s, like, incredible.”

The businessman, whose Trump Tower stands on the major Manhattan thoroughfare, cracked the joke Saturday to a receptive audience at the Christian college.

Reached by CNN immediately after the event, Trump declined to clarify the statement.

Donald Trump Endorsed By War Criminal Being Tried For Genocide Against Muslims

Prepare yourself ladies and gentlemen, Donald Trump has just landed another yuuuuuuuuge endorsement. This time, it comes from Vojislav Seselj, the former Serbian Deputy Prime Minister presently awaiting a verdict from the International Criminal Court regarding his role in organizing crimes of genocide against Serbian Muslims.

Via Occupy Democrats:

“I call on brother Serbs who live in the USA to strongly support Republican Party candidate Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential elections!” wrote the former Deputy Prime Minister on his Twitter page.

Seselj’s endorsement should be a dire warning to the American people about what lies at the end of Trump’s brand of offensive politics. Seselj is currently awaiting a verdict from the International Criminal Court, where he is on trial for organizing horrific crimes against humanity and for inciting genocide against Bosnian Muslims during the Yugoslav Wars. The indictment makes a point to focus on the role that Seselj’s “inflammatory speeches” played in exacerbating the level of brutality that the Serbian forces inflicted on their victims.

Trump wants to make America “great” again, and to deny Muslims from entering our nation; Seselj himself dreams of a “Greater Serbia” – one without Muslims entirely. Even two decades after the conflict, Seselj is still known for saying Trumpian things like “If the Muslim fundamentalists don’t like that, they can pack their bags and leave!” It is extremely alarming to see Trump’s anti-Muslim comments being endorsed by a man who is almost certainly guilty of organizing ethnic cleansing. While we do not mean to imply that Trump wishes to follow a similar path, or that such an horror could it serves as a stark warning of the savagery that lies in the souls of men and how easily hateful and deliberately divisive rabble-rousing can bring it out that barbarism.

Donald Trump Unapologetically Retweets White Supremacist Content

I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised at this point. Donald Trump has called Mexicans rapists, Blacks lazy, and anybody who questions his self-proclaimed greatness losers. He has run a campaign built on hatred, division, and propagandist fear-mongering.

It wasn’t even a surprise when we previously reported that white supremacists were actively campaigning for him to win the Iowa caucus.

Now, un-apologetically stooping even lower, he has just retweeted a graphic that digs at Jeb Bush from a known White Supremacist.

Via Raw Story:

The tweet originated from an account called @WhiteGenocideTM, which is promoting a pro-Hitler movie called, The Greatest Story Never Told. The trailer for the film calls Hitler the “saviour of Europe.” The website also includes an interview with Holocaust-denier Ursula Haverbeck.

One of the many troubling tweets from the account is an animated picture of Donald Trump dressed as a Nazi, about to gas potential Democratic rival Sen. Bernie Sanders. Sanders is Jewish.
