Connecticut mosque shooter charged with hate crime

In the early morning of November 14th, 48 year old Ted Hakey left a bar and fired four rounds from his yard into a local mosque.  It was the night after the ISIS-led attacks on Paris.  Investigators found a sufficient supply of evidence that Hakey “hated Muslims” from his Facebook posts as well as an arsenal of weapons and ammunition in his home.  One Facebook post read, “Is Muslim season open yet? I’m in a target rich environment.” The hate crime could carry a charge of up to 20 years in prison.
