Ex-Massachusetts cop pleads not guilty to stealing $400,000 out of evidence

Kevin Burnham, who retired from the Springfield Police Department in 2014 has pleaded ‘not guilty’ to his charge of seven counts of larceny for the over $400,000 investigators found he had taken from between 2009 and 2014, when he served as the narcotics evidence officer.  The money was allegedly stolen from the evidence room containing the drugs, paraphernalia and cash seized in drug busts.
