NYC Shut It Down: The Grand Central Crew #blacklivesmatterPeople’s Monday action was held today at Grand Central Station tonight. Black Lives Matter Activists remembered Laquan McDonald by reading the facts of his murder on thye main floor and the food court.
Activists marched around the station including the Apple store taking the march to the streets right after.
Black Lives Matter Activists also performed a die-in at Saks Fifth Avenue for 16 minutes, for the 16 shots that killed Laquan McDonald.
NYPD followed the march and allegedly escalated the situation when they tried to prevent Black Lives Matter Activists from entering Rockefeller Center.
A total of five Black Lives Matter activists were violently arrested tonight after marching through Rockefeller Plaza in Midtown Manhattan. One of the females arrested was taken to Bellevue Hospital with reported injuries.
Local activist and organizer Keegan Stephan chronicled/analyzed the entire evening:

One of the boldest lies by NYPD I've seen. We had walked through plaza, were leaving. No one was ever near the tree. pic.twitter.com/RxHQfl0yqq

1. NYPD has now changed their story, admits no one was trying to climb the tree. Claims people were trying to enter plaza. Also false.
