White Supremacists love Donald Trump.

They have campaigned for him in primary states across America, placing robocalls with disturbing messages saying “the white race is being replaced by other peoples in America,” continuously flood his social media/harass his widespread critics in the press, and have even infiltrated his official delegate process in California.

They have been among the earliest and most passionate endorsers of the GOP front-runner’s candidacy, saying that they finally feel they can “be more open” about their ideas now that their commonalities have successfully entered the mainstream of a major political party.

None more so than David Duke, the prominent Ku Klux Klan member and neo Nazi who insists in his later years that he simply advocates for racial separatism, and not racial violence.

The white supremacist was among the first to endorse Trump’s candidacy back in August and intensified his pledge in February urging all of his supporters on his weekly radio show to “get off your duff” and volunteer for his candidacy.

At the time when pressed to disavow support from white supremacists, Trump famously stumbled.

Now, it seems Trump’s problems with white supremacy and the KKK continue to mount, as Duke sent out a series of tweets professing his ardent desire to be seriously considered for the vice presidential position.

Saying he’d be the billionaire candidate’s “best life insurance” if he were given the job, he additionally included a photo-shopped campaign poster showing them standing aside each other in unison.

The shocking photos come just days after William Johnson, the white nationalist who has been robocalling on behalf of the Trump campaign across America, was selected by the GOP standard bearer and his associates to be an official delegate from California at the national convention in July.

The official statement from Trump regarding the snafu was to blame it on a “database error.”

Despite the overwhelming unlikelihood of Trump ever seriously considering Duke as his VP, it is terrifying to see extremists – who not only have demonstrated throughout their lives to espouse racially charged hatred, but equally so have demonstrated an utter disinterest in mainstream politics or campaigning – to so outwardly and unconcernedly supporting Trump.
