After being drugged and waking up at a stranger’s house likely to have been raped the night before, a San Francisco woman went through four hours of a sexual assault examination at a hospital in May 2010. Cops told her the rape kit would be tested very soon but continued to offer no results. After two years she was finally told that it would not be tested because it was “low priority.” On Monday the woman charged the city with violating due process and equal protection.
